Zeichenmaschine = drawing machine.
Think of an open VCR. Paper gets burned according to the speed of wind outside the exhibition space. The paper continuously runs through the machine in a loop. The burn-marks are "read" by a camera and fed into a pc, which creates a sound, according to the degree of the burn. The burn-marks add up, changing the notes played, until eventually the paper becomes too burnt and breaks, ending the play.
